I enjoyed watching this movie. It is a light hearted crime/comedy film. The actual crime and solving of it was o. k. What I really found entertaining was the charachters of Lamont Cranston and Phoebe Lane. Lamont Cranston is a reporter who covers the crime beat for a major newspaper and he also does a nightly radio show exposing the police and crimminals. He does this under the name The Shadow. The police officials get really ticked off by The Shadows criticsm of their police work and are always threatening the newspaper editor that they will not give any information to the paper anymore if they don't curtail The Shadows activities. Phoebe Lane is the ditzy female reporter who is always trying to help and to land the big story much to Lamont's chargin. Overall this is a pretty good movie and well worth watching for a few laughs and to see the radio studio that is set up in the newspaper building. Audio and video quality of the download is good.
