Tor Johnson's "transformation" into the "beast" requires him to wear a lump of oatmeal on his face. There is no synchronized soundtrack, so dialog occurs while the speakers are off-camera or in extreme long shots. There's a killing at the outset that has nothing to do with the rest of the film. And the portentous narration is a hoot, too: "Flag on the moon. Nothing could have prepared me, I'm thinking.  We'll get a five-minute scene in which a couple of people walk aimlessly and slowly through an ugly, featureless desert for mile after mile, just walking and walking, and we're lulled into a false sense of security...and then BAM!  Just when you least expect it, all of the sudden they STOP WALKING AND KIND OF STAND THERE FOR A WHILE.  My mind: blown.  (Note: This describes every scene in the entire film, no joke.)

See if you can make sense of the movie's attempts to make some kind of cynical statement about people being caught up in "the wheels of Progress," a statement it makes through truly endless narration that mentions people being "caught in the wheels of Progress" about two dozen times (there's a shocking twist in which the narrator finally mentions that Justice also has wheels, and people may or may not also be caught in them).

The library music is well chosen, not because it fits the movie but because it's nicely composed and performed enough to be a suitable distraction.
