This is certainly one of the better John Wayne western-comedies. It has a very well-written and clever script and is very enjoyable despite the sub-par acting on many counts. If you are a fan of westerns, and are in for a good laugh...well you've probably already seen this. If you are looking for a funny comedy with both some clever word-play and some slapstick and don't mind a touch of western, you should think about giving this movie a try.

I love John Wayne, he was such a warm character. In this hilarious comedy, but in his action films as well.
