Yes, the acting is a tad wooden and yes, the dangers/escapes are a bit obvious, but this is a good, solid, fun film.

Looking at the current situation of the white population of Africa (think South Africa and Zimbabwe), this turns out to be a perceptive and perhaps prescient work.
