The quality of this copy is quite poor, as are most of the copies on the market which I have seen. But it detracts only a little from the sheer enjoyment one gets while watching this cinematic feast by the Korda brothers. The story by Kipling is well known and widely told but still grips the imagination. The music by Miklos Rozsa, a master of film music, is a soaring delight.
